Team
Each workspace has its own team. Settings > Team lists the members, and pending invites for members who can manage the team.
Inviting someone
Enter their email under Invite someone and choose Send invite. The invite lasts 7 days; Resend renews it and Withdraw cancels it. They accept from the link in the email, signed in with that email address (if they sign up with email and a password, they verify the address first). Inviting needs the Manage the team permission.
Permissions
Every member can see the workspace. Edit on a member chooses what else they can do:
| Permission | Lets them |
|---|---|
| Publish live policies | Edit the live draft and publish it, and copy test to live |
| Publish test policies | Edit the test draft and publish it |
| Create customers | Add customers |
| Change customers | Change customers (plans, overrides, gives and takes, caps, top-ups, metadata), segments, notifications, and usage metadata |
| Delete customers | Delete customers |
| Manage API keys | Make and delete API keys |
| Manage the team | Invite and remove members, change their permissions, and rename the workspace |
| Manage billing | Change the workspace's plan and card, the budget alert, customers' billing settings, approving and retrying payments, and syncing Stripe customers |
A member with none of these shows as Can view. The workspace's owner can do everything and can't be removed; only the owner can connect or disconnect Stripe. Remove takes someone off the team, and Leave takes yourself off.
Dot works as you: it can only propose what you can do, and you apply it.
